# Drive Downloader Overview

Drive Downloader is a web app at [drive-tools.8apps.co](https://drive-tools.8apps.co) that takes the files you choose from your Google Drive and either downloads them as zip files or copies them into another account.

**Key Capabilities:**

- Export everything in **My Drive**, everything **Shared with me**, a whole **shared drive**, or only the folders and files you pick
- Filter by file type, by the date files were last modified, or by owner
- Convert Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and Drawings to the format you choose, from the same list as Google's own Download menu
- Exports under 2 GB download straight to your computer; larger ones are prepared in the background as 2 GB zip files
- Copy files into **another Google account** or into **Dropbox**, with their folders recreated
- Every zip includes a `manifest.csv` listing each file and whether it was exported
- Read-only: nothing in your own Drive is moved, edited or deleted
