# What Drive Downloader Stores and for How Long

# Privacy and Your Data

## What Drive Downloader reads

- Drive Downloader has **read-only** access to the Google account you sign in with. It reads only the files you choose to export and never moves, edits or deletes anything in your Drive.
- In a linked Google account, it can only add files to the folder you choose and see the files it creates there.
- In a linked Dropbox, it can only use its own folder, **Apps › Drive Tools**.

## What is stored, and for how long

| Files of a large export (download page) | deleted 24 hours after the export finishes |
| File names and paths of an export | deleted with the download, 24 hours after it finishes |
| Exports under 2 GB | never stored; they stream straight to your browser |
| Copies into another account or Dropbox | stored nowhere on the way; they stream from Google Drive to the destination |
| Export history (counts and sizes only) | until you clear it or delete your account |
| Access to your accounts | encrypted; removed when you disconnect or unlink |

## Disconnect or delete your account

- **Settings › Disconnect** revokes Drive Downloader's access at Google and signs you out.
- **Integrations › Unlink** removes access to a linked account.
