Yes, Currency Converter works on both personal Gmail and Google Workspace accounts.
Once installed, you will see a "$" icon in the sidebar of Gmail, Docs, Slides, and Calendar. Click the icon to get started. In Google Sheets, it's available under Menu > Extensions for advanced use cases.
The CURRENCYCONVERT formula lets you convert currencies directly within Google Sheets. Syntax: =CURRENCYCONVERT(fromCurrency, toCurrency, amount, date). You can omit the amount or date if needed. Supports historical exchange rates and works seamlessly with cell references.
You can choose from 160+ currencies available in the add-on. If you have a specific currency that you need to be listed, please reach out to us at support@8apps.co, and we will try our best to add that in.
We support this feature in the paid version. You can select the from and to currency along with a specific date to get the historical conversion rate.
