Scheduling Within Southeast Asia

Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta, Manila, and Kuala Lumpur are all within 2.5 hours of each other — making regional SEA meetings relatively easy.

Scheduling Tips

1

Singapore (SGT, UTC+8), Manila (PHT, UTC+8), and Kuala Lumpur (MYT, UTC+8) share the exact same time zone — zero gap.

2

Bangkok (ICT, UTC+7) and Jakarta (WIB, UTC+7) are 1 hour behind Singapore — 10 am SGT = 9 am BKK/JKT.

3

The entire Southeast Asia region can hold a 9 am–5 pm meeting with only a 2.5-hour spread at worst.

4

None of these cities observe daylight saving time, so gaps never change throughout the year.

5

For calls with Indian partners (IST, UTC+5:30), the gap from Singapore is 2.5 hours — 10 am IST = 12:30 pm SGT.

Use the Color-Coded Planner to Find Your Window

The Timezone Meeting Planner shows a visual 24-hour grid where each hour is color-coded:

9 am – 6 pm local time. The ideal window for meetings. 7–9 am and 6–10 pm. Possible but not ideal. Outside working hours or weekends. Avoid unless necessary.
