Get Your Claude API Key

Create an Anthropic account

If you don't already have an Anthropic account, create one on the Anthropic Console. Verify your email address, then log in to the console.

Generate the Claude API key

• Log in to the Anthropic Console.
• Go to the API keys page.
• Click Create Key, give it a name, and confirm.
• Copy the generated key as soon as it's shown. You won't be able to see the full key again once the dialog closes.
• Claude API usage is billed per token, so make sure your account has credits or billing set up.
