Optimising GPT Mate

Once your GPT formulas have generated the content you need, you can convert them to static text to lock in results and improve sheet performance. This feature replaces active formulas like =GPT(), =GPTLIST(), and =GPTTABLE() with their current outputs.

Why Optimise?​

  • Save API Usage & Reduce Costs: Avoid repeated API calls that can quickly consume your usage limits or incur extra charges.
  • Ensure Output Consistency: Freeze GPT responses to prevent unintended changes during sheet refreshes.
  • Improve Sheet Performance: Reduce the load on your spreadsheet by removing real-time formula calculations.

Available Options:​

  • Selected Cells - Only convert GPT formulas in the currently selected range
  • All Cells - Convert every GPT formula in the entire sheet
